Christian's Arrow after being off the road for nine years

The car in it's prime

Bertie in the Loire in 2007, we did a re-run of our honeymoon 20 years on...only this time it rained every day! 800 mile round trip...epic!

Owner's Notes

I built an Arrow in 1982-83 using a 1200 estate car as a donor and new chassis from Burlington. Looks exactly as the brochure car!. She is maroon red with polished aluminium engine side panels and has ‘as supplied’ black interior trim, 15” wheels from a TR4, TR4 instruments and she’s great.

We got married in her and spent the honeymoon in the Loire Valley, she has also done a Beaujolais run back in November 1989. It was freezing (aero screens only), never got above 3C! 700 odd miles round trip!

I have not used her for 9 years and my wife says we can never sell her! I am going to attempt to get her back on the road this winter.
