 Bentley Arrow 2+2

Owner's Notes

I bought her in May this year on E-bay from a chap near Amersham. She was originally built by Lloyd Denney from Consett in Durham. He built her 20 years ago using a 13/60 Herald donor for the total sum of £987.00! She was BRG in colour and had cycle wings. She was the car featured on the front of the Burlington Arrow Owners Club magazine, called Flashpoint, which was then run by Mr. Denney. Original No.Plate was SSH 64 but the last owner sold it and had her re-registered as LSL 933.

She has changed a few times and is now white with a full set of wings and running boards. She has a Vitesse 2.0L engine and O/D box. The most unusual feature is her grille. It's from an S3 Bentley! Looks great but upsets some purists at car shows!

The chassis is from the donor Herald but was lengthened by 8 5/8" to firstly make it a 2+2 and also the measurement was worked out to accomodate a standard Herald propshaft. Clever sod that Mr. Denny!!

Lower picture shows how the car looked when it was first built back in the 80's
