SVA testing station's Berretta

Previous Owners notes

My dad and I bought the car in the early 1990s as an abandoned project with most of the bits to complete. It was a Herald based car with the 1200 engine - LUH 659F. I worked for TVR at the time and one of the lads there was selling it. Naively, I thought we'd have it on the road in a month or so! It actually took us 2 and a half years to complete it and even then, there was still work to do!

After completion, my dad used it for a while and then we needed to raise some cash so we sold it. The interesting part is that we sold it to the (then) Vehicle Inspectorate (now VOSA) who were looking for a car to use as a teaching aid for their SVA testers! As far as I know, it is still in use today and currently holds the record for the highest number of times a car has failed an SVA test (and probably on the highest number of failure points)!

I now have a copy of the notes with the failure sheet and would be happy to share these with anyone who needs to put their car though a SVA or anyone who wants to see them.
